i love crepes!

so today, i decided to make crepes for brunch for the family. the batter’s really easy to make.

just mix 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of water, 1 cup flour, 2 tablespoons of butter, and a pinch of salt. If you want to sweeten it up, you can add some sugar into it.

so my first attempt to making the crepe was kinda bad. it was thicker in the middle so eek.. =/ but it tasted fine tho. so here’s my tip for this, pour the batter into the middle, then, using your laddle, spread it out in circular motions and then twirl your pan around to achieve that.. perfect circle look that’s even all around. if you’re having problems with spreading it, add a bit of water or milk to your batter. dont add too much tho.

also, make sure you have the filling ready. if you’re doing fruits, cut up the fruits before you start making the crepe. this way, you could just top the fruits on the crepe while it’s in the pan. otherwise you’ll have to take it out, then reheat it later.

when you’re making crepes, make it a little crispier. the toastier the tastier. when you have batter that’s a little thick in the middle, it gives it a bit of.. oomph. so you’ll have a crispy surface but a soft chewy center. if you like, that, go for it [not too thick tho]

now i wish i had those professional crepe pans.. those are TOO cool.

and make sure you have nutella!! nutella is amazing on crepes

nothing happened really, but i’m just wondering. cuz i’ve had.. well, recent encounters with jerky guys.

hey guys! so i haven’t updated in a while due to the fact that i went to montreal to visit my big bro. right now, i’m actually skipping class cuz i’m tired. we got home at 4 am. (yeah, i know, way to use my resting time using the computer and all). so my trip.. hmm.. i wouldnt say it was a great trip. lotsa walking involved. i didnt fall in love with montreal, sorry. part of the reason why i wasnt totally in love with montreal probably had to do with all the french speaking. i.. dont know any french. i have a basic knowledge of french. like how you pronounce words like “translation” haha. and je t’aime, ce soir, sortie, etc. simple words/phrases lol.

we didnt do much there. we visited mcgill university, old montreal, montreal’s eaton centre, biodome, and the olympic whatever. so to sum it up because i’m too lazy to type up all the little details, i’m going to type up a list of highs and lows.

so anyway, to explain my new name “abby megatank jetplane” << type that into the facebook search, yep, that’s me. so it’s an inside joke that we did just for fun. jetplane because i’m fly. hahaha. just thought it’d be really catchy to put it as the title of this blog. plus it sums ups my last week. haha.

hey guys sorry for the emo post.. things have been a lil annoying and weird and CONFUSING. but all is fine now. i’m over it. since i get over things like.. within an hour most of the time. which is.. basically what happened for this situation. so you’re prolly confused about what it’s about. it’s about a guy. and i’m sick of guys but i want a relationship but whatever. i need to get a dog hahaha. i’ll shower the dog with love and attention so that i wouldnt have to deal with boy problems until a lil later. when someone actually clicks with me.

sometimes i wish we just.. knew. i wish i knew what i’m going to end up doing in the future and who i’m gonna end up with (note: i’m optimistically assuming that i’d end up with someone). the future scares me..

the other day i was talking to one of my best friends EVER, monica, and we were talking about.. life after highschool. sounds pretty scary.. 4 years after highschool or even earlier, we’d have to start working and stuff. the big bad world. and then one by one my friends are gonna get married. i’m pretty excited about attending those weddings actually.

so here are my plans for my next school year:

• do good in school
• apply for a decent university and get in
• get a part time job
• get my G1 (yes i need to learn how to drive so that i can take my dog to the beach when i get a dog)
• get a dog
• start volunteering
• become a volleyball goddess

so hey, accountant or graphic designer? i’m torn. well, who knows, maybe i’ll be the first female prime minister of canada. HAHAHA. or, a teacher. wow. THE FUTURE SCARES ME. or.. well, marketing sounds pretty nice. so does working as an editor in a magazine. -sigh- the possibilities..

so hey, the form thing is fixed! that thing’s been giving me lotsa problems ugh. anyway, it’s working now so yay! anyway, i just took an accounting test today and i did horrible =/ and sadly, i started biting my nails again during the test so ughhhhhh!! we had an evacuation in school today and it was.. hot. like, it was boiling outside and we had to stand there for 30 mins. and i have lotsa hw tonight so ugh.

anyway, i’m making a new layout on a very well known tv series ( but old ). i’m not gonna tell you what it is tho so you’ll have to wait and see.

so last night, i stayed up to watch whose line is it anyway? and those guys are AWESOME. like, they’re comedians who can come up with stuff on the spot. go youtube it if you’re curious cuz it’s pretty good. and then, today, i watched some jay leno reruns and saw this commericial on it starring harrison ford. i thought it was extremely funny so yup, i’m sharing (:
